TolumiDE Music fans have been enjoying music from the debut of urban artist TolumiDE (pronounced toe-luh-MEE-day). Her first full-length release, My Love, introduced her to countless fans who have liked her clever mix of R&B sounds, Afro-Pop, Gospel and inspirational lyrics.

The artist, hailing from the District of Columbia, and her single, “My Love” has been heard on radio stations nationwide and her video has aired on the MTV Base, Channel O, Nigezie, MBOA TV, Amet TV, Gospel Music Channel, Christian Broadcasting Network, One Gospel and many others. The song also hit #34 on the Media Guide Top 100 Gospel Chart. She was recently nominated for Most Gifted RnB from the 2010 Channel O Music Video Awards (South Africa), also received two nominations for the 2011 Washington Area Music Association Awards for Gospel/Inspirational Vocalist and Gospel/Inspirational Recording. Now, the multi-cultural songstress is releasing a brand new single from My Love album called “Specialty”.

One of the many jewels on the 12-track release, “Specialty” has a soulful and R&B theme, but with a relaxing and smoothed out delivery. With a dose of positivity, the song is one of pure jubilation. It’s a fabulous track from the pen of TolumiDE herself. The single is currently being serviced to radio and like her entire project, she’s been receiving wonderful reviews. TolumiDE has just arrived back in the U.S. from Toronto, Canada, attending The JUNO Awards, Canada’s highest music honor. While there, the Nigerian and Canadian singer/songwriter made stops at CHRY 105.5 FM, CKLN 88.1 FM, CIUT 89.5 FM, Suya Spot and AMET TV to promote the new single from the debut album released last spring.
