Visually, these kinds of trousers are trousers of any form that reach the ankle or any length above it that doesn’t exceed the knees. The trend came into the fashion world early this year, with designers like Dolce and Gabbana, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Etro, Burberry and even high street stores including them in their collections.
I really like this style because when you wear it, or even roll your trousers up a bit or so, you definitely look more ‘stylish’ and unique. It’s a beautiful thing, especially in a country like Nigeria where the sun usually shines everyday.
The style is also good because it gives what ever shoe you wear the chance to shine and show it self, so if you bought a new pair of shoes, then you know the deal. For the ladies, this style looks exquisite with a pair of heels, but for a more laid back look, you could rock a pair of sandals, plimsolls, boat shoes, etc. For the fellas, it looks better with most kind of shoes even though a pair of low top trainers could be pulled off with it, but remembering that it should correlate with your overall look.
