New Music: StephREDD “A Li’l While” Prod. By Rotimi Keys (@iamStephREDD)

by Ifemidayo OdekunleApril 13, 2015

‘Jazzed up’ and certainly Soulful, StephREDD debuts with an inspiring single that has all the richness of the Negro Spiritual music – add to the fact that the song caters abundantly to the need to find and express ‘the’ faith in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges.

Written in 2009 haven had to ‘wait’ a while herself in a place of uncertainty, confusion and fear of the possibilities of the future. StephREDD moved from a class of ‘more than enough’ to one of ‘almost nothing’ following the loss of her father at the young age of seven (7), but she succeeded, strengthened by her mother’s determination and sheer will. She strongly believes that nothing is impossible to whosoever would believe enough, work-hard enough, pray enough and just ‘wait’ in position long enough to see the anticipated best come.

Apart from singing inspiring tunes with her rich soulful and velvety voice, StephREDD is a Bilingual Human Resources Professional with several local and international certifications. She is a compelling communicator, an impactful trainer, public speaker/compere and a writer. She is currently one of the Lead Vocalist at the House on the Rock Church in Lagos, Nigeria.

“A Li’l While” was produced by Rotimi Akinfewa a.k.a. Rotimikeys

I am strongly choleric (ambitious and leader-like), yet deeply sanguine (pleasure-seeking and sociable). I smile always, that most times people love me simply because of that. I’m a hopeless romantic with a very practical streak. I love getting things done and internally motivated to succeed. I value relationships, honour, truth, wisdom and purpose. I’m in love with God, moral talks and can carry on a conversation thread all day in which thirst for learning drives me, while multitasking.
