Time Magazine is famous for a lot of things but it is very famous for its list: TIME’s Top 100 Most Influential People in the World. Everyone from President Obama to Jimmy Kimmel and our own Omotola Jalade Ekeinde have been on the list.
This year, TIME wants its readers to be a part of the selection process. They will be able to cast their votes in the various categories (World, U.S. Politics, Business & Tech, Culture & Fashion, Movies & TV, Music, Media and Sport) selecting people they feel have changed the world this past year, for better or worse. Some of them are our very own Aliko Dangote, Pope Francis, North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un, Malala Yousafzai, NSA whistle blower Edward Snowden, Openly Gay athlete Jason Collins, Super Model Kate Upton, Fashion Desiger Alexander Wang,Reality Star Kim Kardashian, Award winning filmmaker Steve Mcqueen, Oscar actress Lupita Nyong’o, Scandal star Kerry Washington, Hip Hop artiste Kanye West, Music newcomer Lorde among others.
