NIGERIA ARISE features some of the most vibrant, passionate and innovative youths of our generation. Amazing world-class talents in rap, singing, instrumentation and production, all from Nigeria. New Music: SAMMIE OKPOSO RELEASES A PEACE SONG “LET PEACE REIGN”. (@SammieOkposo)

by Ifemidayo OdekunleJanuary 27, 2015

Celebrated gospel music artist, Sammie Okposo has released a single titled “Let Peace Reign”. The Song is a peace song urging Nigerians to live in peace and co-exist in harmony.

According to the Award winning artist and Peace ambassador, “we are in an election period, it’s not a war, please let us do our best to make the election violence free”. This song couldn’t have come at a better time because it goes a long way to buttress that no matter which party or candidate one is supporting, Let it be done peacefully.

Sammie Okposo, a known GEJ supporter from 2011, was involved in reposting an unconfirmed report already trending online accusing GMB of forgery and perjury. He was immediately remorseful and was quick to apologise to GMB via twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

This has also shown that Sammie Okposo is a man of peace.

Making Christmas Happen For Victims of Boko Haram in the North-East

by Yada MagazineDecember 14, 2014

It is already mid-December and the air is thick with the smell of Christmas. Holidays are being planned, fun events being looked forward to and families excited about the times they will spend together.

Sadly however, about 640,000 Nigerians are not privileged to look forward to this joyous celebration. This is because they have been made refugees in their own country, internally displaced by the deadly activities of the Boko Haram terrorist group. Many of them are in camps or are trying to pick up the pieces of their lives in places other than their hometowns.

To make this Christmas a little more exciting for them, the Caring Heart Foundation and Be A Blessing are seeking your support to bring relief for about a thousand internally displaced persons in Borno and Adamawa States.

With your donations, we intend to provide them with foodstuffs, clothing, shelter, toiletries and pay for school fees.

To donate, simply visit http://igg.me/at/helpingBHvictims/x/9349812

In addition, we are working with Maiduguri-born artiste, A-Maz on his music concert, “The A-Mizzy Concert” to raise awareness about the plight of IDPs in the North-East.

The concert which is also being [...]
