There are two ways to look at the ocean
You can say it divides the continents
Or you can say it connects them
There are two ways to look at distance
You can say it keeps you apart
Or you can say it makes you hang on tighter
There are two ways to look at the moon
You can say it’s too far away
Or you can say it never leaves your sky
There are two ways to look at the sky
You can say it is too wide
Or you can say it wraps the whole world in
There are two ways to look at the stars
You can say they are too many
Or you can lock your eyes in one an notice it is different from the rest
There are two ways to look at a stranger
You can say he is a passer by
Or you can say he will leave an imprint in your life
There are two ways to look at a lover
You can say “I promise him forever”
Or you can say, “Only forever can prove my promise”
There are two ways to look at a promise
You can say it is meant to be broken
Or you can say it is an opportunity to give promises a good name
There are two ways to look at giving up
You can say you are a fool to fight a losing battle
Or you can say you are wise to say this is not your battle
There are two ways to look at goodbyes
You can say it ends a chapter
Or you can say it’s setting up the stage for a great reunion
There are two ways to look at time
You can say each moment can not be taken back
Or you can say each second is a chance to make up for what you can’t take back
There are two ways and too many ways to look at things
But there is only one way to look at love
You receive it whole
You give it whole
It is ALL
Or it is not love at all.
