Shane & Shane picks up where the duo left off two years ago with its latest studio album, The One You Need. The record debuted Top 5 on the Christian sales charts, while garnering national exposure via radio play, a strong social media presence, and Shane & Shane’s “The One You Need” fall tour.

Shane & Shane’s first project with Fair Trade Services, The One You Need turned up at No. 5 on the Billboard Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart. Additionally, the album peaked at No. 1 on iTunes’ Christian & Gospel Top Albums chart within a day of its release.

The project’s impressive debut could be attributed to strong support from radio playing lead single “The One You Need.” The song has been added by more than 30 stations nationwide, including powerhouses WDJC-FM (Birmingham, Ala.), Sirius XM, KLJC-FM (Kansas City, Mo.), and WCSG-FM (Grand Rapids, Mich.). “The One You Need” also received attention from its music video, which debuted Aug. 4 on GodTube. Also driving sales is a powerful social media campaign with giveaways, contests, and other online promotions. The response has been phenomenal with Shane & Shane acquiring an additional 46,000 Facebook friends and 3,200 Twitter followers in the last two months alone.
