Fierce! A lady walks by with a nice leopard skin dress, black shoes and a black bag laced with gold.

All heads turn to look at who just passed, the dress is well fitting, the print screams notice me and her accessories made her look like something from fashion heaven.  This is what I think when I see someone pull off a leopard skin dress well.  I love this print.

It could be the shoes

It could be the dress. Check out Beyonce looking hot in her leopard skin dress. The dress brings out her complexion and flatters her figure.

It could even be the bag

Whatever it is, the leopard print can look gorgeous. So how do you wear such a bold print?

Well if it’s the dress you are wearing that has the print if you don’t want to look over done you can accessorise with black and gold like in my example above. Your dress should fit your body structure so it does not emphasise on your flaws but rather your strengths.  I advise gold because gold just looks great on so many Nigerian women and if you can accessorise well you will look fantastic. Tip: Whenever you dress up take off the last accessory you put on less is more.

If you want to wear leopard print shoes let them be the focal point of your outfit. Why not wear a nice black dress and let everyone notice your amazing shoes. If it is a leopard print clutch make sure your dress does NOT have another print. This could really kill your look. Personally, I would make the clutch the focal point of the outfit too and make my outfit simple, letting all eyes fall on my clutch.

My question for you: Do you like leopard prints? How would you wear it?

Have a great day.

  1. oooooh… girl!!!! I love leopard prints. Classic prints are the embodiment of class, grace and style all in one and the colour variations are just and fashion lover´s play ground.
Leopard print on white (sexy office), on red (vamped up, edgy sexy for a night out), leopard on black (casual n easy), on its own … puurrrrrrrr….

You are totally on trend! I love your tips. My leopard skin shoes are coming out to play!

    Cheers,
    Tash.
