Matthew 27:50-54 NKJV

And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!”

The part that gets me about this story is that the graves were opened, & many of the saints who had perished were actually walking around the city. Think about that. Can you imagine? And people wonder why throughout history, through world wars, famine, death, despair, Kingdoms rising & Kingdoms falling, only Jesus, & His word has, & forever will stand the test of time. It is not the popular opinion. It is divine HIStory! A book which contains books of eye witness accounts of the greatest events that have ever taken place in this life. Written in a time where there was no internet, no social media, no cell phones, & no cameras. People cherished & relied solely on their words & relationships with one another. What they saw with their eyes, & shared with their words meant everything!

Why is trusting in Jesus THE WAY, TRUTH & LIFE? No other religion or religious leader since the beginning of time has even claimed to do the miraculous things that Jesus claimed He would do, much less actually DO THEM for people to witness & share!

HE IS RISEN!!!!!! If you’re on the fence, get off it! If you’re running from Him, stop this day! He knows you, He knit you in your mothers womb, & only He can set you free to be who you were made to be! Life is short, & we all have an unknown expiration date. Honestly look in the mirror & ask yourself, “What do I have to lose?”
